We strive to provide quality pets to loving, caring homes. We want you to enjoy many happy, healthy years with your new pet. However,
because we know that no breeding program can have perfect results 100% of the time, we provide a health guarantee which is outlined in
our Bill of Sale/Contract.
Parson’s Pets’ Bill of Sale/Contract:
To the best of the seller’s knowledge, this puppy is free from disease and/or dehabilitating internal defect. Parson's Pets uses preventative
treatments for common puppy problems such as coccidia and kennel cough in addition to regular shots and worming. Puppies are well
cared for and treated carefully and kindly to avoid health problems and temperament problems. The seller expects the buyer to provide and
care for the basic needs of this puppy in regards to, but not limited to, consistent continuing health care, proper nutrition and habitat, safety,
sufficient rest and relaxation opportunities, regular grooming and emotional support. If the seller finds that the purchaser neglected any of
these basics, then this guarantee is nullified.
This is a contractual agreement that the buyer is not purchasing this puppy for the purpose of breeding, reselling or for transferring
ownership to a person not listed on this contract unless seller gives assent to do so. If the puppy is sold or “given away” before he is 1 yr. of
age, this guarantee will be nullified. Seller retains first refusal rights to purchase this puppy back at a reduced rate of no more than 25 % of
the purchase price if the initial buyer is for any reason unable or unwilling to keep and/or care for him.
This puppy is guaranteed to test free of distemper, adenovirus 1, parvovirus, and/ or rabies up to 72 hrs. following date of transfer.
Furthermore, this puppy is guaranteed to be free of potentially fatal congenital internal defect for the span of 1 yr. past the date of it’s birth.
If in this time frame a licensed veterinarian (vet) finds and documents any problem with this puppy, the buyer must contact the seller as to
the nature of the problem within 24 hrs. of the diagnosis. If the puppy expires within 48 hrs. immediately following transfer, the buyer must
contact the seller as soon as possible. In the case of a death, an autopsy must be performed by the seller’s vet at the expense of the
buyer. If a condition which is covered in this guarantee is found as a cause of death, and all other criteria has been met, then arrangement
will be made by the seller to replace the puppy. In the case of a diagnosis of a problem covered in this guarantee during the prescribed time
frame, a second veterinarian, unassociated with the first, must examine the puppy and diagnose the puppy in independent concurrence with
the first vet’s diagnosis. In either case, the seller must be presented with credible documentation and prognosis from each vet. Also, seller
must be presented with records of all veterinary care that the puppy has received. The records must be complete and concise proving that
the puppy has received proper continual care by a licensed vet. The buyer must provide the name and phone number of the licensed vet
who has diagnosed the puppy, and of any others who have examined him since the date of transfer. For this guarantee to apply there must
be no signs of neglect or abuse in regards to the puppy. The seller will then present all evidence to the seller’s vet, and if after consultation,
the problem is indeed considered by all parties involved to be imminently fatal, the seller will arrange to compensate the buyer with a healthy
puppy of the seller’s choice. The replacement puppy will be comparable to the original puppy, but may not be available immediately. The
seller retains the option to consult with the buyer in terms of an alternate and reasonable settlement agreement. This guarantee does not
cover treatable things such as, but not limited to, cherry eye, internal/external parasites, splintered nails, kennel cough, ingrown hair,
protozoan, regrown dew claws, skin sores, retained baby teeth, infected ears, uncooperative temperament, flaky skin, bad breath, ect. All
shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser. None of the vet costs incurred after the date of transfer are the responsibility of the
seller. Seller does not guarantee adult weight, color, size, temperament, or ability to procreate even if the puppy is sold for a breeding
prospect.
