Our breeding program specializes in Cockapoos.  We love the Cocker Spaniel breed as well as Poodles!  Both are awesome companion dogs.  The
combination resulting in the Cockapoo is even better in our estimation than the sum of the parts.  The same can also be said for the Dorkie.  We love
Dachshunds, as well as Yorkies!  The adorable Dorkie mix (Dachshund/Yorkie) is becoming quite popular.  These two breeds seem to complement each
other well, and the resulting puppies are the best of both worlds!   When we breed a mixed/designer breed litter we have a desired goal.  We price our
puppies with this in mind.  We believe that all of our puppies will be excellent pets, other wise we would not even offer them as such.  Our most important
goal for our puppies, and indeed one which they all must achieve, is
health and vitality.  This is why all of our puppies must pass a health check at Dr.
Zimmer's Veterinary office!   Our secondary goal is that the puppy must be easily
trainable as well as cute.  We have not been dissapointed in this category!
Our breeding dogs are also health checked by our vet, and we only use healthy dogs with healthy genetics in our breeding program.  Both puppies and
adults are supplemented with DHA for higher brain functioning.  We believe in the "no bad dog" philosophy, but we do not breed dogs with challenging
personality traits.
Note to potential clients:

Each of our dogs is special to me, and is an individual with a pet name.  I have an individual relationship with each of my dogs.  They are my pets.  When you
purchase a puppy from us it is nice to get pictures and updates back from you.  Further more, it is my prerogative to refuse to sell to anyone that I do not
think will, or is able, to properly care for a dog.
Please do not contact me if you are not able to care for a dog, or if you are wanting to purchase a  puppy
for resale, or to give as a surprise gift.
The puppies that I have available are our baby dogs, and need to be given proper respect and care.  They are not
disposable, they are a commitment for their entire life.
We are very busy, and have a lot of responsibilities, but we can find time to talk with you!  Don't hesitate to give us a call in regards to our puppies for sale, or
a puppy that we have already sold.  Thanks.
Welcome to Parson's Family Pets!  Come on over and meet our gang.  We love our pets, and we are sure you
will, also.   Most of our dogs love to meet new people.  We also enjoy meeting people that share our interest
in our puppy kids.  We believe that our puppies are some of  the best and the brightest around, and we love
their funny little puppy ways.   Our dogs bring us a lot of joy, and we hope they will do the same for you.
...And that is why we do what we do!
Are you interested in one of our puppies?
Please read my page on Puppy 101.  Whether you purchase a puppy from us, or someone else, or get one from the

Hi!  I am Hobbes!
I will greet you at

We try to keep the cost of our puppies and shipping down. The poor economy has been very rough on us, as it has been for most folks. We ship
with Delta's Pets First.  Shipping is $300 extra, but gas prices are currently low, so pick-up is sometimes the best option for getting your puppy.
Our prices for our cockapoo puppies average $450 - $750, and our dorkie puppies average $350 - $550 depending on many factors such as
color, sex, pedigree, size, ect.
Puppies are ready to leave us for their new homes usually at 8 wks., but sometimes not until they are 12 wks. depending on their size and maturity
level.    For puppies under 8 wks. of age we can take a deposit which goes towards the price of your puppy.   Deposits are non-refundable if you
would happen to change your mind.

puppies that a client sent to me after
he went to his new home.
The combination of the cocker and the poodle resulting in the
cockapoo is one of the most well known and loved designer
breeds.  The cockapoo has a large following, and several
registries dedicated to them.  For more information about
cockapoos click on the link below.

The Poodle, though often equated to the beauty with no brains, is exceptionally smart, and excels in obedience training.  This may be why the
Poodle is one of the most popular breeds according to AKC registration statistics.  Poodles can be a variety of colors.  The toy poodle matures
to 4 – 10 lbs.  The mini size matures to 10 – 15 lbs.  Standard size is even larger.  The breed originated in Germany as a water retriever. The
stylish "Poodle clip" was designed by hunters to help the dogs move through the water more efficiently. The patches of hair left on the body are
meant to protect vital organs and joints which are susceptible to cold. The Standard variety is the oldest of the three varieties. The Miniature
variety may have been used for truffle hunting. The Toy Poodle was often used in performances and circuses.
Right Breed for You?
The Poodle can accommodate nearly any size living quarters. His hypoallergenic coat may reduce allergic reactions, but requires regular
professional grooming. The Poodle is an active breed and requires daily exercise.

F1, F2, or F1B cockapoo?  Which one is best?  All cockapoos no matter which generation, are all still cockapoos.
The thing to remember is that F1 litters are usually more uniform.  The same can be said for F1B litters.  In F2 litters
there is more variety, and in F3, F4, F5 ect., the resulting litters take the general direction that the breeder has
chosen as resulting in the selection of thier breeding dogs.

The same applies to the dorkie litters.  Dorkies usually only come in F1, or F1B.
